Cookie Policy
A short, honest account of what this site stores on your device. At present it is very little, and none of it tracks you.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as local storage, do the same job in a slightly different way. They can be used to make a site work, to remember a preference, or to track behaviour across sites.
2. What this site uses today
One item, and it exists only because you asked us to remember something.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs of requests to the site. Those are not cookies, they are not linked to a browser identifier, and they exist for security and fault diagnosis. They are covered in our Privacy Policy.
3. What this site does not use
- No analytics cookies. We currently run no analytics tool on this site.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No social media tracking widgets. Our social links are ordinary links.
- No cross-site profiling, and no sale of any data of that kind.
4. Third-party requests
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google's servers, which makes your IP address visible to Google as part of delivering them. No cookie is set by us for this purpose, and we receive nothing from it. If you would prefer this not to happen, blocking third-party requests in your browser or an extension will prevent it, and the site will fall back to a system typeface.
5. If we add analytics later
We may add a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are useful. If we do, it will only run after you accept in the consent banner, this page will be updated to name the tool and list what it sets, and rejecting will continue to be a real choice that we honour.
6. Changing your choice
You can reopen the consent banner at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, and change your answer.
You can also clear site data or block storage in your browser settings. Every major browser offers this under privacy or site settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will mean the consent banner reappears on each visit, because the record of your choice is exactly what is being blocked.
7. Changes to this policy
If what we store changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when.
