Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data DVOLTT collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Dvoltt Energy Private Limited ("DVOLTT", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India, with its office at Prabhavee Tech Park, Office No. 2, A-Wing, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045.

For the personal data described in this policy, DVOLTT is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). That means we decide why and how your data is processed, and we are accountable for it.

You can reach us at info@dvoltt.com or +91 75592 91724.

2. Personal data we collect

Data you give us

When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your company
  • Your work email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • The area of interest you select
  • Anything you write in the message field
  • A record that you gave consent, and when

Please do not include sensitive personal information, commercially confidential details, or third-party personal data in the message field. If you need to share something of that kind, contact us and we will agree a secure route.

Data collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically record the IP address making the request, the browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These logs exist to keep the site running securely and to diagnose faults.

Data collected by third parties

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. We do not control that processing. We do not run advertising or profiling technologies on this site.

3. Why we use your data

What we doWhy
Reply to your enquiryBecause you asked us to contact you about clean energy systems
Prepare a proposal, site assessment or commercial discussionTo take a genuine enquiry forward
Keep a record of the enquiry and our correspondenceTo manage the relationship and meet our own record-keeping obligations
Keep server logsSecurity, fault diagnosis and site availability

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry alone.

We process the data you submit through the enquiry form on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box. That consent is specific to being contacted about your enquiry.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@dvoltt.com. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Once you withdraw, we will stop processing your data for that purpose and will delete it unless we are required by law to retain it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place while consent was in force.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for 24 months from our last meaningful contact with you, and then delete it. If the enquiry becomes a commercial relationship, the data moves into our contract records and is kept for as long as that relationship and the applicable statutory retention periods require.

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule, typically a short rolling window.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our instructions in order to run this website and deliver our mail.
  • Professional advisers such as auditors or lawyers, where they need it to advise us.
  • Authorities, where we are required to disclose data by law or by a valid order.

Where a provider processes data for us, we require it to protect that data and use it only for the purpose we have given.

7. Transfers outside India

Some of the providers we use to host this site and deliver email may store or process data on servers outside India. We only use providers that apply appropriate security measures, and we transfer data outside India only where permitted under the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government.

8. How we protect your data

  • The site is served over HTTPS, so form submissions are encrypted in transit.
  • Enquiries are delivered to a controlled company mailbox with access limited to the people who need it.
  • The form uses anti-spam measures and validates and sanitises what is submitted.
  • We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers or financial account data through this website. Please never send those to us by email.

No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as the DPDP Act requires.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we are processing it.
  • Correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data.
  • Grievance redressal through the route set out below.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as described above.

To exercise any of these, email info@dvoltt.com and tell us what you want to do. We may need to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person.

You also have duties under the DPDP Act, including not filing false or frivolous complaints and not providing false particulars when submitting personal data.

10. Grievance Officer

We do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies without your consent. What it does store, and how to change your choice, is set out in our Cookie Policy.
